Console Management Over IP Solutions
Equinox network-based products consist of industry leading Secure Console Management over IP and Serial over IP appliances for flexible, reliable and affordable solutions for a wide variety of applications.
Secure Console Management over IP products consist of CCM console managers available in 8, 16 and 48-port models.
Whether you are local or remote, the CCM Console Manager and AVWorks® Management Software* give you the tools to take command of your data center. Blending seamlessly into your existing network, the CCM console manager may be accessed using AVWorks, which includes a cross-platform Telnet and SSH client.
The CCM Console Manager is equally compatible with industry standard Telnet and SSH clients. To permit access to existing user accounts, the CCM console manager is compatible with industry standard RADIUS servers. Onboard user accounts can also be established for ease of management. The CCM console manager SNMP MIB2 and enterprise traps integrate directly with existing SNMP management systems allowing for proactive measures.

With the CCM console server, system administrators are able to securely access the serial console port of remote systems such as servers, routers, power management devices (UPS and power switches), Telco equipment, network switches, firewalls, DSLAMs and other serial accessible devices. Administrators can alter configuration parameters, diagnose and recover from system faults, view statistics and perform various other control related functions. The CCM may be accessed by LAN, WAN, and Dial-up or a direct terminal connection.
